Instructors, would you like to increase student engagement and instructor presence in your D2L courses?

D2L’s video platform integration, Kaltura My Media, allows instructors to create, store, and stream multimedia including video, audio, and screen capture. Incorporating video into your course(s) and course curriculum can help enhance the teaching and learning experience for both instructors and students, as well as vary methods for communication and collaboration.

With Kaltura, creating and adding videos to your courses is as easy as 1, 2, 3

Step 1: Download and install Kaltura CaptureSpace Desktop Recorder.
Step 2: Select the type of recording you’d like to create.
Step 3: Record your video and insert it into your D2L courses.



Videos created with Kaltura can be added to a variety of tools and locations throughout D2L including News, Content, Discussions, Gradebook Feedback, etc.
